BKHM Audit Manager Leads Central Florida Chapter of FICPA WINTER PARK, Fla. (Nov. 18, 2010) – Tarsha Jacobs, Audit Manager at the strategic accounting firm of BKHM CPA, was elected president of the board of directors for the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Central Florida Chapter. She will serve a one-year term. As board president, Jacobs will help guide and implement policies for the chapter’s operation and preside over all chapter meetings. She also serves as chair of the accounting careers committee. Tarsha Jacobs “Serving as Central Florida’s FICPA president allows me to further promote the high ethical standards of our profession and encourage best practices among our members,” Jacobs said. “I am honored to serve with other accomplished Central Florida accounting professionals, and am committed to supporting the careers and development of all CPAs in the region.” Jacobs joined BKHM in 2005. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Also elected to the board of directors of the FICPA’s Central Florida Chapter: T.S. Burr, president-elect; Ann Stachura, treasurer; George Fender, Continuing Professional Education chapter liaison; Kenneth Kosloski Jr., regional representative and immediate past president.
